Produce fire resistant and noise reducing glass, for example, with evguard® laminating film
Once the EVA film has gone through the lamination process, it is integrated and demonstrates properties which are otherwise known from hard rubber. As a result, the film does not melt at high temperatures in laminates – it resists temperature increases for much longer than conventional PVB films. This makes laminated glass with evguard® perfect for use as fire resistant glass, for example.
Laminated safety glass which is produced using our EVA film with 44.2 construction achieves an airborne sound insulation value of 36 dB or better. No additional specifically sound-absorbing layers are required for this result. As a result, the laminated glass is suitable for use in facades, among other things.
